Launched by J’Vanay Santos and her co-founders U-Leea Santos and Dr. Michael Conward, MyLÚA Health is a digital front door for maternal care that extends the capacity and reach of care providers in an equitable and culturally informed way.

The MyLÚA platform offers an SMS and web app experience that streamlines access and engagement by automating culturally sensitive data collection, video education, and care coordination.

MyLÚA Health was founded after U-Leea’s birthing experience, where she was denied pain medication during her labor and was left feeling silenced and unheard. From that day forward they set out on a mission to ensure that MyLÚA cultivated a village in which moms and birthing people’s voices were heard, lived experiences acknowledged, and lives valued by offering knowledge and resources reflective of the community.

As a founding team of people of color, they are among the population most adversely affected by the maternal care crisis and chose to be a part of the solution. With lived experiences fueled by passion, grit, and commitment; they’ve developed a solution that is human-centric and ensures that quality and equitable care extends to all birthing people regardless of their skin color or socioeconomic status.
