Puerto Rican Unity for Progress, Inc.

For nearly 50 years, Puerto Rican Unity for Progress, Inc. (PRUP) has been supporting the wellness of Camden County residents through programs designed to improve access to economic, social, and cultural opportunities and resources for low income individuals and families, with an emphasis on the county’s Hispanic community members.

PRUP programming:

▶ provides weekly groceries to individuals and families in need.
▶ assists and empowers families with employment assistance, educational training, securing adequate and affordable housing; and acquiring affordable healthcare.
▶ helps families to achieve financial stability and move up the economic ladder.
▶ connects residents with healthcare providers and access to blood pressure checks, asthma, diabetes, breast cancer, and cervical cancer screenings.
▶ reinforces young peoples’ education through tutoring while providing them with educational and skill building workshops.
