Tatiana Smith | Doulas for the People

Founded by Tatiana Smith, Doulas for the People provides reproductive health care support, information, resources and advocacy in collaboration with Black and Brown communities.

Equity in Postpartum grant funding is helping Doulas for the People work with more families and supporting the group’s six doulas to participate in a six-week postpartum-specific training based in the folk and historical healing traditions of the South, with an emphasis on the practices of Black Southern Midwives.
